What are we going to do?
• The workshop starts with a theoretical explanation of the Tadelakt lime powder and the
processing of this material.
• After that you will get acquainted with the Tadelakt equipment and the pigments.
• During these 5 days all important aspects of Tadelakt will be treated
• Some of these aspects are:
- preparation
- mixing of pigments with Tadelakt powder
- Explanation of requirements concerning suitable subsoils and surface
- Practical training of the techniques of application and smoothing
- Finishing with soap
- Maintenance

The main goal of the workshop is that you try to do as much as possible by yourself and discover the secrets of Tadelakt. The Maalem watches your work carefully and gives recommendations for a good or better Result. To gain a better understanding of the Tadelakt lime powder and how it is produced, an excursion to the Tadelakt oven will be organized.

What do you need?
The most important thing you need is a good mood. In addition wearing old shoes and clothes is
recommended. You do not need to bring anything particular to the workshop.
The workshop takes place in Marrakech. In the summer period it can be very warm in Marrakech.
